Hilldale Community Association
What's on in Hilldale

Our primary objective is to bring together the Hilldale community.  We try to achieve this by holding a number of events throughout the year.  Subject to the ever-present COVID regulations, we have plans for events later in the year.

  • The Hilldale Coffee Mornings.  Gary uses locally sourced produce to make his superb bacon and sausage butties.  We also have cakes from Rosebud Bakery and tea, coffee and soft drinks. Why not come along for breakfast?
    We're open from 10.30 until 12.00.
We hold them on the last Saturday of each month in the Hilldale Village Hall on the last Saturday EXCEPT for May, August and December.
  • 13th October - Annual General Meeting.  If you are a resident of Hilldale, you will be very welcome at the AGM where you can help to elect the Chair, Treasurer and Secretary and, importantly, have your say about the what the HCA does and how it operates.
  • 30th October - Coffee Morning
  • 27th November - Coffee Morning
  • 29th January 2022 - JAZZ 'n' GIN with Ian Millar and Dominic Spencer.  We plan to run the Jazz and Gin event on Saturday 29th January 2022.
  • TBA May 2022 - FUN DOG SHOW - were cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID restrictions.  If all goes to plan, we will have a Fair in May 2022.
  • 3 - 6th June 2022 - The HILLDALE FAIR and Queen's Jubilee.  Although the details are being finalised, we plan to have music and a BBQ on the weekend.  Watch this space.

Buying TICKETS for entertainment events:

Ticket prices are set for each event and they can be reserved by email to tickets@hilldale-ca.org

To pay for tickets, please use one of the methods suggested on the Buy your tickets page.

Your ideas and suggestions are always welcome.  If you have suggestions for different types of events please send them to us using the Contacts page or why not come along to one of our meetings: ask a committee member for the date and time of the next one.

Please note that we cannot hold Bingo or Race night evenings in the Village Hall as there is a covenant in the deeds which specifically prohibits gambling.  If there is enough interest, we would consider renting a function room elsewhere.

Previous events

In 2014 we remembered the men of Hilldale and Bispham who gave their lives in the First World War. Touch or click here to read about it and here to see the photos of the day which included a BBQ.
