The Hilldale Community Association is charity registered in Englan, 1108035. It was formed in 2003 with the express objectives of:
(i) advancing education and providing facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation.
(ii) improving the conditions of life for the residents by organising events and helping to provide facilities which will benefit the whole community.
The HCA committee is currently reviewing the Constitution to ensure that it contunues to reflect the us - the Hilldale community - and what we want to do as a community.
As explained on the Home page, we run a series of events throughout the year to which everyone is invited. Some of these events are for fund raising purposes and some, such as the Coffee Mornings, are simply arranged as "get togethers".
At the Hilldale Fairs we put up a Wish Tree in the Village Hall. If you have a suggestion for things you think could be done have done to improve things, write it fown and put it on the Wish Tree. Some of these suggestions are easy to do and some are not - normally because they need large funds. We will provide an update for the Wish List projects and any others which are subsequently added.
We have a noticeboard and so, if you have a notice you'd like to be displayed, contact us - hello@hilldale-ca.org - and we'll try to find a space for it.
Membership and Meetings
There is NO membership fee to join the HCA. In fact, every resident is automatically a member; all you need to do is to come along.
We hold our meetings about once a month.
Please come along: send a message - hello@hilldale-ca.org - and we'll tell you the next date, time. and venue.
Annual General Meetings
There is the Annual General Meeting to which everyone in Hilldale Parish is invited. Look out for the notices on our Noticeboard. It's usually in late September or early October. The date for 2021 is 13th October. It will be held in the Hilldale Village Hall and refreshments will be served.
